SalonLisa.com
is a great example of a one page "business card" type
website. Lisa Foose is a licensed cosmetologist in New Hampshire who needed
a place on the web with her contact info for easy communication with current
and potential clients. This simple, yet elegant design, along with her own
domain name, gives a professional look. If you're interested in a similar "business
card" web page, contact Craig now for a free price quote.
Dee
Thomas ran for Florida State House Representative in District 46 as a Democrat.
Her website vote4dee2004.com was informative and useful, but needed
a stylistic
improvement. Craig based his design on the previous layout but re-created
a more classy look for her political campaign. Custom graphics and a slick
background
element give this website a clean professional look.
ArtFromNature.com
is a business conceived and created by Craig that is the home of original
botanical prints and photographs available for purchase online. The goal is
to provide
high-quality,
yet affordable
art made from the beauty of nature. It all began by pressing and framing
ferns and flowers from our garden, but found they would fade in time, so we
decided
to capture their beauty in prints. Each arrangement is scanned at a high
resolution, then digitally enhanced and printed on heavyweight matte paper
in photo-realistic
quality. The result is a strikingly realistic representation of actual botanicals
that makes for an inexpensive piece of art that's ready to be placed in your
favorite frame.
After
seeing what Craig did for Isley.org, his step-mom wanted him to create a similar
website for her family, but he quickly realized that they should
have the ability
to update and add to the site themselves without any knowledge of HTML
or using a web editor. After searching around, Craig found a great free open-source
solution in phpWebSite from
Appalachian State University. The result is Federer1.com which not only
allows users to administer the site and add content through
any web browser, but also has many useful features such as a calendar,
message
board, photo galleries, polls, and more. Although limited in how the site
looks, Craig was able to tweak the color scheme and add his own custom
designed logo and
graphics. This is a great option for many who will be making regular
updates to a site and may not have the technical skills or time to deal
with HTML and Craig is currently offering this service to potential
clients who may have a special need for such a site from now on.
GWMasters.com
is the new website for Garywood Master's Commission - a discipleship program
from Garywood Assembly of God in Hueytown, Alabama. Craig is quite proud
of the simple yet slick design. All clients should be this prepared, as they
provided a very clear idea of what they wanted along with plenty of source
material such as the rearview
mirror
image and a nice color scheme. For this site Craig also created a Flash intro
animation, added a contact form, and set up and customized a phpBB discussion
forum. Basically
this one was built as a template so members of their organization can easily
add to and update their content. Craig also provided in-person tutoring for
their technical staff.
